The Project
Celect was brought in to design and install the complete lighting scheme for the bar and social facility at the Surrey Police Academy in Guildford. The brief called for a scheme that felt welcoming and contemporary — a space where staff could unwind in comfort — while meeting the practical demands of a busy commercial environment.
We installed a series of pendant lights above the bar, providing focused, atmospheric task lighting over the serving area while complementing the clean lines of the interior. A broader ambient scheme was developed for the seating areas, creating a space that feels purposeful and bright during the day and relaxed by evening.
All electrical work was carried out to commercial specification, fully certified and compliant, with minimal disruption to the ongoing operation of the facility.
