Bodyworks West

The Project

Bodyworks West in Notting Hill is one of London's most celebrated luxury health clubs, and Celect was entrusted with the full electrical and lighting installation across the entire wet leisure facility. The scope of work was extraordinary in its range and complexity.

The centrepiece is a stunning indoor pool, where we designed and installed cove lighting along the full perimeter, underwater feature lighting, and ambient wall-wash fixtures that cast warm reflections across the water. Every layer was specified to enhance the atmosphere while meeting the stringent waterproofing and safety requirements of a commercial aquatic environment.

We also powered and lit the waterfall feature — two cascading jets set against deep blue mosaic tiles — along with the hydrotherapy pool, steam room, and treatment areas. All pump and water-feature electrics were designed and installed to commercial specification, with full traceability and compliance documentation provided on completion.

The lighting throughout the changing rooms and bathroom facilities was designed to feel as considered and luxurious as the rest of the club, with backlit mirrors, LED cove details, and decorative wall fixtures all wired and commissioned by our team.
